A week ago I sent out a post entitled Love and light are not the only answers, and I still stand by that assertion. We can’t afford to wear rose-colored glasses and not see the real agendas going on in the world. However, it is complicated, and many times it leaves us feeling rather powerless to do anything about it. After all, society is being rigorously shaped by an elite class with money, media, and might behind them.
This all gave me real pause to think about where we actually want to head. What WOULD a utopia look and feel like, and is that even a realistic goal? Utopia is defined as “the perfect society”, and human beings are not perfect. We are works in progress. In any case, unless we can actually envision and aim for what WE want, we will end up with what they want for us.
Certainly humanity has the potential for a very expanded mind consciousness, so that is one area on which to focus. However, the narrative about the rise of AI and what a computer can process in comparison to the human mind is daunting. It could lead any of us to believe that we are already beat.
But wait! Thought and logic are not the only components of human consciousness. Human beings have souls, we are capable of love, we are connected to each other through a mysterious ether that we are only beginning to understand. Robots will NEVER really complete with us. Our hearts and souls are what separate us from them. So yes, we need to work on freeing and expanding our minds, but love is a crucial element in evolving to a higher level of humanity.
I’ll be writing more in future about the balance between head and heart, and why we must use both to change humanity’s future. In the meantime, here’s a very quick-read little booklet with 10 love-rooted ways you can personally change the world: Manifesting Change Thru Love
